Brian Hanson has worked in ministry for over 30 years. His passion is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with everyone he comes in contact with; from speaking at churches, talking to strangers, or even using Uber as a platform to share the gospel, Brian does not shy away from an opportunity. He is a mover and shaker in the world of ministry today. His biggest supporter, partner in ministry, and wife is named Mandi. He has four amazing children named Melanie, Caleb, Brianna and Hayden.
Following his education at Clark Summit University, Brian was led to become a youth pastor and continued the role for 23 years. Simultaneously, Brian served in an unofficial role of leading Bible studies, hosting prayer gatherings, and shepherding political leaders in the Ohio Statehouse. Today, Brian has the privilege of having the official title of Ohio Ministry Leader and Director of International Ministries for Capitol Ministries. His wife, Mandi, plays a vital role in the teaching and discipling of women involved in the ministry.
Additionally, Brian has always had a special place in his heart for using the sports arena and athletes to grow disciples of Jesus Christ. Brian has been the team chaplain of many sports teams including the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, the Dayton Gems semi-pro hockey team, Central State University football team, Wilberforce University basketball team, and Cedarville University men's basketball team.
